What's to eat for Memorial Day?!

We are grilling pizza's! If you have never tried this, you are missing out!!! My favorite kind is the pineapple, because pineapple gets so sweet on the grill! I also really like a vegi pizza grilled!

To start out, this is the pan you need, from Crate and Barrel.
You can really put whatever you would like on your pizza, but two combinations i have tried are below if you would like to try them!!!

I think it works out best if you have a really thin crust, so try and find some of those! I do love to make my own crust, but it is a little difficult to use dough when the pan has holes!
Pineapple Pizza:
Brush each side of the crust with a little oil and grill on each side to get slightly brown. Then add whatever your favorite pizza sauce might be(the sauce is best if you warm it up a little) and top with turkey pepperoni, pineapple and freshly grated mozzerella.

It takes about 10-15 minutes to cook, but you will just have to watch it!

For a Vegi Pizza, follow the same steps for the crust. You need to grill or saute the vegi's ahead of time so they won't be too crunchy! The vegetables that i use are purple onion, green pepper, cherry tomato's and mushrooms. You can add whatever one's you like in though. Grill or Saute the vegetables, and then pour onto slightly browned crust with sauce already on it. You can add turkey pepperoni to this as well, or just go straight vegi! You will top the vegi's with freshly grated mozzerella and cook it for about 10-15 minutes.

Yummy, i promise you will love these pizza's!!!

  1. I tried grilled pizza for the first time last week! You're right, it's so delicious. I made Margarita with garlic olive oil, fresh sliced mozz. cheese, fresh basil, and sliced Roma tomatoes. Sprinkled it with a little Kosher salt. So good.

I will give your pineapple a try. I love pineapple on pizza. Love it. The turkey pepperoni is a great idea, too. Yum!

  2. I am now in love with grilled pizza!! These are my two favorite! :)

  3. Yum that Margarita pizza sounds great! I will have to try that soon!

  4. Hi!! I just found your blog! It is so cute and I'm a Carolina girl too!! Never tried grilling pizza before! Thanks for the idea! Pineapple and Margarita pizzas are 2 of my favorites!!! :)

  5. i'm missing out! never done this!
