Time to buckle down!

Even though i have been running all summer in training for my race, it has  been very hard for me to stick to a diet with summer vacations! I really need to buckle down now and get off about 15 extra pounds i have been wanting to get off! I figure now is the best time there is to get serious since all the holidays are coming! This way i can hopefully get in a better routine! I plan to keep track of what i eat in a journal so that i do not eat too many calories. I love health and nutrition and like to try new things! If yall have any tips or healthy foods that have been helpful in the past, i would love to hear them!!!
If anyone else is trying to lose weight right now as well, a few things that have helped me are:
*Writing down what you eat
*Drinking lots of water
*Eat Nutrient dense foods such as grapes, popcorn....this way you can eat more for less calories

Excited to hear any tips! Thanks for listening yall!!!

  3. Avoiding too much processed food can help you keep off water weight. Don't eat out, pack lunches etc. Do your own grocery shopping and avoid stuff you know you have big cravings for/tend to binge snack on.

  5. I second the dwlz.com! I'm currently doing Weight Watchers (not going to the meetings, but writing down my points in my own journal) It really helps out! There are also great blogs full of nutritional recipes. Gina at skinnytaste.com has great recipes with nutrition facts and points!
